Local kids raising funds for Scouts, sports, band and clubs already walk your neighborhood door to door, all year. We incentivize them to deliver your message to every door — not just the one in five who buy something. Each youth program lists its own estimated distribution capacity and its door-knocking season, so you can buy the ad space that actually fits your timing. It also comes with some unique ROI features, detailed further down.
Your ad runs across that program's committed run size, each flyer carrying a unique code — inactive until it's delivered.
Kids scan each flyer's code with the HOMERUNYEP app right at the door — logging the code, GPS location, and time, and switching that code live. A code that's never scanned stays inactive.
Only activated codes count toward your ROI report — so your response rate is always measured against flyers actually delivered, not just printed.
The flyer is one 11" × 17" sheet, printed both sides — rolled and individually rubber-banded so it loops right over a door handle. 15 boxes divide the space, each about 3.5"×2.85" — roughly the size of a large index card. Buy a single box, one or more full rows or columns, or the whole thing — priced the same flat rate per box either way.
Once you buy a box, the size you paid for is guaranteed — you'll never be downgraded or lose the space itself. What isn't guaranteed is the exact position on the page. As a campaign fills up, we may need to rearrange where specific boxes land so the whole sheet actually comes together into a clean, sellable layout — the goal is a fully funded run and a real flyer in kids' hands, not a fixed spot for any one merchant at the expense of the program getting funded at all.
We're always looking for the best way to balance two things that both matter to us: real, fair advertising value for local merchants, and dependable support for the youth programs walking these routes. If your exact position on the page matters to you, let us know when you order — we'll do our best to accommodate it, but filling the page and getting the program funded comes first.

A quick guide on wording, since this gets delivered by kids: keep the offer about your product or service generally — "$5 off any large pizza" or "Free consultation this month" are both fine. If your business serves alcohol, keep the offer off the drink specifically — "Half off appetizers, 4-6pm" works even during what you call happy hour; "$3 margaritas" or anything naming a specific drink or brand doesn't. When in doubt, ask: would this specific wording be fine printed on something a neighborhood kid hands to any adult on the block? If yes, you're set.
Each program fundraises on its own calendar. Pick the campaign whose delivery window fits your business — a restaurant that wants to promote Mother's Day Brunch, graduation catering services, or Father's Day specials, or a retailer that wants their message to land in time for Q4. Worth thinking about, too: a smaller program's whole run is a genuinely affordable full buyout — exclusive reach across everything that program delivers, no sharing the page with anyone. A larger program's run is better suited to sharing space with other merchants at a lower entry cost, trading exclusivity for broader reach. Neither is the "right" choice — it depends on whether you want the whole audience of a focused run or a slice of a bigger one.
We only show programs whose routes actually reach your area — a Woodbury pizza shop won't see a program three states away. This matches by zip code today; real drive-distance matching needs a mapping service we haven't wired in yet.
If your business serves alcohol — a restaurant with a beer and wine list, for example — that's fine, but the ad itself may not promote alcohol specifically. No drink specials, no "happy hour" pricing or imagery, no brand names or logos for any alcoholic product, and no depiction of a person consuming one. A general offer (a meal deal, an appetizer discount) is welcome even if it happens to run during a time your business calls "happy hour" — the offer itself just can't be about the drink.
I understand HOMERUNYEP flyers are delivered door-to-door by youth participants, and I agree to keep my advertising appropriate for that delivery method.
If any of the above is later found to be false — including any attempt to circumvent this screening — I agree to be responsible for the full buyout price of the affected print run, regardless of the tier I originally purchased. Other merchants sharing that run, and the print vendor, will be made whole; HOMERUNYEP retains its portion to cover the cost of resolving the situation, including legal costs.
